Hand carders, standard, pair, 72pt
Make soft and airy rolags for fine spinning. Also blend colours in wool and other fibres using these large curved hand carders.
Large (pads approx 8" x 5" or 200mm x 125mm) and curved. (Cick the picture for a slideshow.)
The standard carders' turned handles are more comfortable to use than the flat handles of the mini version below

Ashford Flick Carder
A single small carder used to tease single locks or staples. Usually used with a downward flicking action against a piece of leather or canvas.
Lightweight with comfortable turned handle. 72 pt card. Size: 100mm x 50mm (4" x 2"). Natural finish.
Drum Carders
Card faster and in larger quantities. Produce batts which you can roll into rolags for woollen spinning or pull into sliver.
